MSHDA Eviction Diversion Program

The Michigan State Housing and Development Authority (MSHDA) Eviction Diversion Program (EDP) is designed to keep Michigan residents who fell behind on their rent during COVID-19 in their homes. The program utilizes a special court process to get fast rental assistance for renters who have been impacted.

Rental assistance in the amount of $50 million is available in the form of lump sum payments to landlords in exchange for allowing tenants to remain in their homes, forgiving late fees and up to 10% of amount due.

You can find more information on the program at www.michigan.gov/edp

Stay Connected

The following is a list of ways we will be communicating with you to keep you informed of the awesome things happening in your school and community. In a district of over 1300 we rely heavily on technology but here are a few more ways we can stay connected.

Email

Your child’s teacher will be communicating with you via e-mail, class dojo and phone calls, make sure you notify us of any changes with your contact information.

Digital Communication

Check out pics, video and digital portfolios on your school website and our Instagram and Facebook pages @servicelearn1.

School Calendar

The school calendar will list important dates to remember such as breaks, holidays, and professional developments that will affect your child’s daily school schedule.

Weekly Robo Calls

Another way to stay informed is with weekly automated robo messages with information about school closings, events and dates to remember that will keep you empowered and engaged.

Outdoor Electronic Message Board

The outdoor digital message board will highlight a few immediate events for the academic community, due to limited space these message boards will only feature brief information about school activities.

Campus Safety/Health Screenings

Safety is our number 1 priority, when visiting your campus, please enter through the main entrance of the building for your Covid-19 health screening. Once you complete the screening you then be directed to the main office.
